Paul Filep – Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer
Based in Northampton, Northamptonshire, I’m Paul, I’ve been shooting weddings for well over 10 years and I absolutely love it. I’m not you average photographer who hides in the background then shouts at your guests for standing in the wrong place. I like to become part of you wedding making are I help lead you through the day and have fun with your guests. Happy people make great photos!
When I am not shooting weddings I live with my partner Jess and our two Children Ryan & Lucy. We love the outdoors and spend a lot of time travelling. We have a camper van called Dani D that we converted ourselves and try to get out in her as much as possible! Music plays a big part in my life and we still get out to lots of live events and club nights where possible.
I specialise in natural, documentary-style wedding photography at venues such as Dodford Manor, Dodmoor House, Fawsley Hall, and many more throughout Northamptonshire. My aim is to create timeless, emotive images that reflect your day—from emotional vows to candid celebrations.
With over a decade of experience, I know how to work with venue lighting, unpredictable British weather, and guest flow, ensuring beautiful images no matter the conditions. I pride myself on being friendly, relaxed, and professional, blending in seamlessly so you and your loved ones feel at ease.

Beautiful photography
Your wedding day should be told in stunning images that bring on emotions when you view them. Our stunning wedding albums are made in Italy by GraphiStudio. They are fully bespoken to your needs. With choices of finishes and different sizes we really can build you a wedding album to be proud of.
My mission
It is my goal to leave you with stunning wedding photos, telling the story of your day as it happens. I believe it is so important to print these memories in a wedding album so you have memories to hand down to future generations.
Creative
At Paul Filep Wedding Photography we understand that the weather may not be perfect and you may not have that amazing light so we can use an array of lighting equipment to create beautiful portraits. Wedding Photography can be just as stunning if it is raining if it’s done properly!
Prepared
We always carry backup equipment. In a world full of technology we understand things can fail so we have cameras that write to two memory cards and very strict backup processes. All your images are kept safely on and off site (with your permission).
Professional
We will always dress appropriately for a wedding and interact with your guests in a professional way. We always have comments from the guests saying how much they enjoyed the photos and how friendly we were!
Travel
We cover wedding photography in Northampton, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire & Essex. Of course we will travel further afield but we will price in travel or a hotel if needed when we quote
Destination weddings
We will gladly do weddings abroad. For the last destination wedding we flown out to Puglia in Italy. It was such a beautiful venue for a wedding photographer and the weather was stunning. Check out our blog to see the images.
